Who we areThis notice explains how we collect and use guest information to plan our private wedding event.

What we collectWe collect only what we need to plan the event:

• Identifiers: first and last name.
• RSVP details: attendance choice, total headcount, whether children will attend.
• Preferences: menu choices, beverage preferences, non-alcoholic options, allergies or dietary notes.
• Logistics: ceremony or reception attendance, optional approximate arrival time.
• Consents: photo and video consent checkbox.
• Optional “green” mention: see “Green option disclaimer” below.
• We do not require email or phone unless you choose to provide them.

Why we collect itWe use the data strictly to organize the wedding: seating, catering quantities, beverage planning, allergy accommodations, timeline coordination, and photo/video logistics.

• How we collect and store dataYou submit answers through our RSVP form on Tilda.
• Submissions are delivered to Tilda and Google Sheets/Tilda CRM for planning. These services may process data on servers outside the United States.
• Access is limited to the organizers and essential vendors who must see the data to perform their work under confidentiality duties.
• What we do not doWe do not sell your data.
• We do not “share” your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We do not build profiles or make automated decisions.
• We do not collect government IDs, payment data, or precise geolocation.

Disclosure to third partiesWe may disclose limited data to essential vendors solely on a need-to-know basis, for example:

• Venue and catering teams for seating, menu, and beverage counts.
• Photographer and videographer for consent status and timeline.
• All vendors are expected to keep the data confidential and use it only to support the event.

Photo and videoThere will be photo and video coverage at the event. If you tick the consent checkbox, your image may appear in the private family archive and wedding film. If you prefer not to be filmed or photographed, please tell us in advance and we will try to accommodate your request in good faith.
ChildrenInformation about children attending is provided by parents or legal guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The RSVP form is intended for adults.
Alcohol and safetyAlcoholic beverages are for guests aged 21+ only. Please do not drive under the influence of alcohol or any substance.
Green option disclaimerAny “green option” reference in the RSVP interface is a humorous label only. It is not an offer, sale, distribution, or provision of cannabis or cannabis-related products or services. We do not collect or process data about cannabis consumption, and the event will follow venue rules and California law. Do not drive under the influence of any substance.
Cookies and site technologyThe invitation website may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies required for form delivery and basic analytics provided by Tilda. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.
SecurityWe apply reasonable organizational and technical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transport, and data minimization. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
RetentionWe retain RSVP data only as long as needed to plan and finalize the event and for up to 6 months after the wedding date, after which we delete or anonymize RSVPs and planning spreadsheets. Family photo/video archives may be retained longer; they are separate from RSVP data.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)California residents have the right to:

• Request access to and a copy of your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Request details about categories of data we collected and to whom it was disclosed.
• Be free from retaliation for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor applicable browser-based opt-out signals.
How to submit a request: email katrinmoonlife@gmail.com with the subject “California Privacy Request” and describe your request. We will verify your identity using reasonable steps and respond within 45 days, or inform you if we need up to an additional 45 days.
International transfersBecause Tilda and Google services may operate globally, your information may be processed outside your state or country. We rely on standard contractual safeguards provided by those processors where applicable.
Changes to this policyWe may update this policy to reflect changes in our planning or legal requirements. We will post the updated date at the top of this page.
